Rates

Bed and Breakfast Tariff:

$100 per double per night (Sunday-Thursday),

$120 per double per night (Friday and Saturday)

including breakfast provisions and one use of spa (due to water restrictions)

$20 extra per person per night.

 

International Host Family stays - Short term, flexible visits.

Guests are invited to take part in activities with the host couple such as feeding the birds in the garden, shopping, small excursions and bushwalking on the weekend.

There are other options which can also be included in package stays, for example visiting a farm or two in the district or animal and wildlife parks.

Creswick is a town you might not have discovered on your own because it is a little ‘off the beaten track' - almost a well kept secret. It has much charm, which your host and hostess (who was born here) will enjoy sharing with you and helping you to discover for yourself.

Rates:

Packages start at less than $100 per day and include accommodation, light breakfast, small excursions and English tuition. We can also design a package to suit your requirements. Available weekdays and some weekends..

  • You do not need to stay for a fixed term of several months as with many Exchange Student stays.
  • You do not need to be a university student - open to all over age 18.
  • To participate you don’t need to be attending English classes in the region (though you can choose to do so at the School of Mines or Ballarat Regional Multicultural Centre).
  • We are not affiliated with any organisation. This is a private home stay, so there are no booking or placement fees, simply a deposit to secure your booking.
  • Private English tuition available on request (AMES trained tutor).
  • Own transport, while an advantage, is not essential, as the main attractions of Creswick are all within walking distance, and a regular bus service to Ballarat stops at the end of the street.
  • If you are continuing on with your holiday after leaving us, as a free service we also offer extensive assistance with regional and interstate attractions and information. Large brochure files on each state of Australia are also provided for you to read and help you plan the next stage of your journey.
  • Some Internet access is also available.

Reaching the B & B

If you don't have a car, the bus service from Ballarat stops almost at the door, or pick up from Ballarat (15 kms) may be arranged outside of bus operating hours.
